Managing Email Configuration

Overview

To send emails through our platform, you must provide an email configuration.

{warning} We don't offer an email server by default, however you could use our email sending service, if that is required. However we can't give any guarantuee on the email deliverability.

Hierarchical Configuration

The configuration follows a hierarchical structure, allowing you to define global settings or override them at the event or email campaign level.

Global Email Configuration

  • Customer Homepage: You can define a global email configuration on your customer homepage. This configuration is automatically applied to all emails sent via our platform.

Event-Level Configuration

  • Event-Specific Settings: You can override the global email configuration at the event level. If an event-specific configuration is provided, it will be used for all emails related to that event.

Email Campaign-Level Configuration

  • Campaign-Specific Settings: You can further override the configuration at the email campaign level. If an email campaign belongs to an event, it will inherit the event's configuration or the global configuration if no event-specific settings are provided.

{danger} If you specify the configuration on Event or Email Campaign level, you have to setup the complete email configuration.

You cannot simply change the Sender Name for example, this would require a complete new email configuration setup.
